ctHelixOne

About

We build the tools we wanted in the field.

ctHelixOne™ exists because real operations — full-time municipal agencies, multi-day events, backup deployments, security details — have been stuck choosing between spreadsheets and six-figure enterprise contracts for too long. We’re the third option, and we’re building the full spine: CAD, RMS, and field mobile on one backbone.

Why we built it

Operators deserve modern tools, too.

Enterprise CAD is too expensive for the operations that need it most, and too slow to deploy when it matters. Spreadsheets collapse under real load and produce nothing you’d want to defend in an after-action review. The full operations spine — CAD, RMS, and field mobile on one backbone — should be available to every agency that runs real public safety work, not just the ones with seven-figure procurement budgets. So we’re building it.

We use this software ourselves. We’ve set it up in the tent and on the EOC table. We know what it should feel like at 0200 when the radio is busy, the coffee is cold, and the next call is already on its way.

Philosophy

Three rules that govern every release.

No bloat

Every feature exists because a real operator needed it. If we can’t name the person who asked, it doesn’t ship.

No lock-in

Your data is yours. Always. Standard files, standard formats, easy export — we plan for the day you might leave.

No surprises

Boring, reliable technology. The kind your IT team already trusts. No proprietary mesh, no unique-snowflake stack.

The team

Built by a small team that has actually run dispatch.

We’re a small team that has run dispatch in the tent and the EOC. That’s the bar for everything we ship: would the version of us standing watch at 0200 trust this enough to bet the operation on it?
